About oval frames
The oval is a forgiving shape: it follows the curve of the cheekbones and rarely clashes with other features. It works especially well on square, diamond and heart-shaped faces. Thin metal ovals feel almost invisible; acetate ovals bring colour while staying soft. Smaller ovals keep high prescriptions thinner at the edges. If you want a little more character, look at round or cat-eye frames, which push the same curve further.
